Weekend works 13th and 14th March 2021
Sir Robert McAlpine need to carry out work this weekend on Saturday 13th 1pm to 5pm and Sunday 14th 9am to 5pm.
The work will include the removal of steel support beams that were initially installed in the lower ground floor of the Forensic building to support the sheet pile wall. The work will include the use of gas torches to cut the beams and then remove them out of the building using a fork lift. The work is in the lower ground floor so its shielded from neighbours and I have been advised no noisy power tools will be used.
It has to be done over the weekend as Sir Robert McAlpine need to ensure the entire floor is vacated to allow the safe cutting, lowering and removal of the beams.
