Mind The Dad Project
Today is International Father’s Mental Health Day. As a new dad, supporting both your partner and your baby, whilst managing all your responsibilities, can be stressful and overwhelming sometimes. Did you know that 1 in 10 new dads struggle with their mental health during this period?
Mind the Dad focuses on dads who feel they could benefit from support during this time and offers free online support either with your baby or in virtual groups, where you can meet other dads in similar situations, at flexible hours (including evenings and weekends).
If you are a dad struggling with a new baby or finding the experience overwhelming or know of someone is who, the Mind The Dad’s programme can help;
cope with your new role
understand and bond with your baby
improve family relationships
build your confidence as a father
