Change to Construction Working Hours

In line with the government guidance: modification of planning conditions relating to construction working hours due to the effects of COVID, contractor Sir Robert McAlpine has received approval from London Borough of Wandsworth Council to extend the hospital and infrastructure construction working hours on Saturdays 8am - 4pm until 31 July 2021. The proposed activities during the additional three hours will be restricted to bricklaying both internal and external to the hospital buildings. No deliveries or other noisy works will be permitted.

Therefore the current approved working hours are:

• Monday to Friday: 7am to 7pm

• Saturdays: 8am to 4pm

• Sundays and Bank Holidays: No works without prior permission.
