Provide your feedback on the next phase of new homes at Springfield Village

Following the announcement earlier this month that London Square are working alongside the Trust and STEP to bring forward plans for the next phase of new homes in the masterplan for Springfield Village, we are pleased to share more details on the proposals for Plots F, G, P and Q.

The Trust, STEP and all of our development partners are committed to working with our neighbours, businesses and the wider community to deliver a development with real and lasting benefits.

In order to achieve this aim, we always seek to engage the community and our stakeholders in pre-application consultation, providing an opportunity for everyone find out more about the plans and share their views.

Earlier in May we held in-person events at Springfield Hospital on Saturday 21 May and Holy Trinity Church on Wednesday 25 May, alongside an online webinar to present the plans.

If you were unable to attend the events, you can view the boards which were displayed at the in person events by clicking here.

The plans for Plots F, G, P and Q will deliver the next phase of 253 new homes, sensitively designed to create a sustainable new residential quarter as part of Springfield Village.

In summary, the plans for these plots include:

  • Plot F: 56 new homes including houses and an apartment building, with a mix of tenures featuring private, affordable rent and shared ownership

  • Plot G: 99 new homes as a mixture of houses and apartment buildings, including private and affordable extra care apartments

  • Plots P and Q: 98 new homes as a mixture of houses and apartment buildings

The new homes will be a mix of one, two, three and four-bed properties, and 10% will be wheelchair accessible.

Alongside the new homes, the proposals feature:

  • 107 car parking spaces, including accessible spaces

  • 443 cycle spaces and 13 visitor cycle spaces

Maximum building heights are set by the approved masterplan and the massing of each building has been sensitively developed within the approved parameters, to ensure they are appropriate to the existing listed buildings and decrease in scale towards the edge of the park.

To provide us with your comments and feedback on the plans for Plots F, G, P and Q, please complete the form below. All feedback will be reviewed and taken into consideration ahead of a planning application being submitted to the London Borough of Wandsworth later this summer.
