Springfield Village - Temporary road closure update - Re-opening COB 1st July

The following road closure and required diversions were recently extended, this was to allow SRM, London Square and Hemiko to install the district heating spurs and main spine of the pipework across Lapidge Drive. This is being done in 2 sections to maintain vehicle access to Share Garden.

The first section from Springfield Drive Junction to Share Garden (image below) has been completed and re-opened on the afternoon of Wednesday 12th June.

The second section from Share Garden to 1840 vehicle entrance gate was closed from Wednesday 12th June and will now re-open close of business on 1st July, as shown below, this is to allow SRM and Hemiko to cross over the main spine of the district heating pipework. 1840 residents and deliveries will still be able to make use of the entrance gate as normal.
