Springfield Village Bus Service Update

We are pleased to inform you that both the G1 bus reintroduction and the new extension of the 315 bus route into Springfield Village will commence this weekend on Saturday 3rd May.

G1 extension 

The G1 bus currently drops off on Burntwood Lane to the western side of the site. This route will now be extended so it drops off further into site coming through Lapidge Drive and to the end of Springfield Drive nearest to Springfield Park.

Buses will run every 20 minutes during the day and every 30 minutes during the evening on all days of the week.

315 extension

The 315 bus route will also now run between West Norwood and Springfield Hospital. It will take passengers along Balham High Road, past Tooting Bec Station, Trinity Road, Glenburnie Road and Springfield Drive as shown below.

From Saturday the new bus stops on Springfield Drive will become active. Buses will run every 20 minutes from Monday to Saturday during the day, every 30 minutes on Sundays and every evening, travelling in both directions.
