A look ahead for May 2024

Hospital Buildings (Delivered by Sir Robert McAlpine)

  • Both Hospital Buildings are open for use.

Civil and Infrastructure (Delivered by Sir Robert McAlpine)

  • The park (area B) is open.

  • Public access is opened on Springfield Drive and Chapel Square.  Car parks in the new hospitals are open.

  • The entrance to Burntwood Lane is OPEN for both vehicle and pedestrian access.

  • Park area A is nearing completion with soft landscaping, play equipment and resin works to pathways being completed.  The pavilion is nearing completion too.  Park area A is due to open October 2024, after a period of maturing.

  • Harewood House plot to be handed over to the House Developer in June 2024.

  • Park C works are progressing with soft landscaping, gym stations and pathways.  Park area C is due to open October 2024, after a period of maturing.

  • District heating works down to X,Y,Z plot is progressing.

  • Road 4; Lapidge Drive is completed and open for access to everyone.

  • The last substation build within the development is completed outside Phoenix Building.  Infrastructure works is progressing to allow energisation in July 2024.

  • D2C Occupied

  • E1 All units sold, completions to the last units will continue through May

  • E2 Has been given CML (Council of Mortgage Lenders), hand over to client end of May

  • E2 Court yard play area is complete.

  • D1A 3rd floor slab installed brick and blockwork commenced to roof level, roof slab Mid May

  • D1B, Internal fit out commenced, external landscaping to from also commenced

  • D1C Internal fit out commenced, scaffold strike to start early may

  • D2B 1st fix commenced scaffold strike to start early may

  • D2A 1st floor slab installed, brick and block work in progress to level 2 slab expected Mid May

  • D parcel road base cause is complete

  • Finals and Inspections to the Kitchen Block apartments

  • Internal fit out to Dormitory wing

  • Scaffold Strike to various areas.

Next phase of new build residential Plots G, P, Q and F (delivered by London Square)

Block P

  • Continuing with the basements to the houses.

  • Commencing the retraction of the sheet piles to the basement excavations on the houses.

  • Commencing substructure brickwork to the apartment block

  • Installing the beam and block floor to the apartment block.

Block Q

  • Commencing the basement excavation to the houses.

  • Commencing basement slabs and walls to the houses.

Block G

  • Removing the substation that feeds the Trust and SRM (as long as there are no hick ups with Power On)

  • Continuing with the ground beams.

  • Commencing brickwork to G2/3.

Block F

  • No works are envisaged to take place as we are awaiting SRM to divert the gas main which is due to be completed mid June.
