Civil and Infrastructure (Delivered by Sir Robert McAlpine)

  • The park is open (with areas in Park area C cordoned off to allow maturing).

Residential Phase - Plots B-E and L&M (delivered by Barratt London)

Total number of plots sold to date is 258 with 4 plots remaining to be sold.

December will see the completion of D2A (Violet House) with occupation starting in the new year.

December continues with the new sales centre on phase 2.

January current sales centre will close and start of the conversion back into apartments.

January commencement of phase 2 works.

Barratt London will close down for the Christmas period on 24/12/24 until 2/1/25.

Conversion of listed main building to residential - Plot S (delivered by City & Country)

Phase 1 is complete.

Current occupations at the 1840 is 80 in total

Phase 2

Central area comprising of Engineering Tower, Boiler House Units and Dormitory Wing are now complete and residents in occupation. Upcoming activities:

  • Central Area – Engineering Block Units fit out in progress

  • Orchid Section 1 – Roof tiling complete and removal of scaffolding started

  • Orchid Section 2 – Structural Joists complete and roofing works to start

  • Orchid Section 3 – Demolition of existing roof complete and timber floor in progress

  • External Works – Utilities and landscaping from North to South

Next phase of new build residential Plots G, P, Q and F (delivered by London Square)

Sales

  • 13 – plots have currently been sold which include 7 houses and 6 apartments.

Block P

  • Completion of block P brickwork/roof parapets

  • Commence block P windows

  • Completion to plots 230 to 233 roofs and PV

  • Commence internal fitout to plots 230 to 233

  • Commence roof trusses to plot 234

  • Commence 2nd floor joists to plots 237 to 240

  • Commence 1st floor joists to plot 241

  • Striking of hoarding to the front of plots 230 to 234 and 3/4 week single lane closure to Springfield drive w/c 6/1/25

Block Q

  • Commence 1st floor pre-cast planks

  • Commence 1st floor balcony brackets

  • Complete district heating to Q houses.

  • Complete installation of services & permeable road to 250 to 253

  • Commence 1st lift brickwork to plots 242 to 247

Block G

  • Commence 4th lift scaffold on G 2 & 3

  • Commence 1st floor pre-cast planks to G 2 & 3

  • Completion of 1st floor pre-cast planks to G 1 & 4

  • Commence 1st floor balcony brackets to G 1 & 4

  • Commence 3rd lift brick work to G 1 & 4

Block F

  • Commence 1st lift brickwork to block F

  • Commence 1st lift scaffold to block F

  • Completion of external services and drainage

  • Completion of district heating to block & houses.
