Barratt works in College Gardens

In order to facilitate residential works on the Springfield site, Barratt has erected a new hoarding to the College Gardens boundary. This area of land is owned by Barratt Developments and is required to carry out operations in a safe and practical manner. The area has been photographed and documented and Barratt will ensure that when works are completed, the land will be reinstated to an acceptable standard. This is expected to be in no more than 12 months time.

Barratt will endeavour to protect and maintain the trees and plants currently in place; however this will not be possible throughout and some removal and cropping will be necessary, plus the existing fence will also be removed in the area where the new hoarding is fixed.

Please note, the new hoarding line is purely to facilitate the build of new homes and to keep the area segregated and secure, no temporary or permanent access from College Gardens into the Springfield site is being created.
