A look ahead for November 2021

Hospital Buildings (Delivered by Sir Robert McAlpine)

  • Trinity (Non-Forensic) buildings façade nearing completion on the North Elevation, other elevations complete. The Shaftesbury (Forensic) façade is ongoing on all elevations.

  • Fitout works to Shaftesbury and Trinity buildings.

  • Mechanical and Electrical works ongoing to Shaftesbury and Trinity buildings.

  • External Scaffold removed apart from the North elevation on the Trinity building.

Civil and Infrastructure (Delivered by Sir Robert McAlpine)

  • Park works progressing with minimal earthwork movements to complete subsoil and topsoil profiling works in the final areas for phase 1. Drainage installation is nearing completion around pond 2 and the construction of the pond 2 is progressing as the old gas main is now redundant. Footpaths to the park are ongoing. The pedestrian bridge over pond 2 will be delivered mid November. Boundary clearance at the Southern boundary has been reviewed with STEP and Wandsworth Tree Officer. The extent of the clearance has changed following ongoing consultation with various parties. As a minimum there will be further clearance works in October to enable footpath construction to the Southern boundary to tie in to the existing footpath in the existing car park in St Georges Grove.

  • Tree and shrub planting may commence in November in the park area weather conditions permitting.

  • Road 1, located east of Storey Building, is now open for public use and the traffic management has been removed.

  • Works complete to Road 2 - Storey carpark re-open. Road construction is progressing outside the nursery, gym and both new hospital buildings, but uninterrupted access will be maintained for both parties through Share Garden.

  • Works to progress hard landscaping will commence on Springfield Drive in early November.

  • HV electricity statutory undertaker laying HV cables into site to Trust Storey Building from Glenburnie Rd is completed.

Next phase of new build residential - Plots B-E and L&M (delivered by Barratt London)

  • Drawing will remain current for planned works

  • Superstructures will continue to B1, B2, C1, C2 L & M – currently up to 2nd floors and will be up to 3rd in the next few weeks

  • Foundation works continue to E1/E2

Conversion of listed main building to residential - Plot S (delivered by City & Country)

  • Externally roofing is complete to Jasmine Tower and commenced on the next area for Jasmine/Lupin link.

  • Masonry repairs and cleaning to continue to Rose and Primrose Towers.

  • The installation of new and refurbished cast iron and Crittall style windows will progress.

  • Decorations to Jasmine Tower apartments to commence.

  • Internally, 1st fixing to Rose, Primrose and link areas to progress, with plastering to Jasmine Tower completing and Lupin and Rose Towers commencing.

  • Commence decorations to upper floor units in Jasmine Tower.

  • Lupin Tower lift installation to be commenced.

  • External service distributions to be undertaken.

  • Substation fit out to continue.

  • Phase 2 drainage works have commenced whilst procurement for materials and subcontractors for this next phase is underway.

New care home facility - Plot H (delivered by Lawrence Baker)

  •  Continue with external façade to all elevations, generally up to wall plate level

  • Installation of remaining 1st floor planks

  • Installation of isolated “plant well” 2nd floor planks

  • Internally screed works, mechanical and electrical 1st fix works are progressing

  • Roof trusses are scheduled to commence during the 1st week in November
