A look ahead for August 2022

Hospital Buildings (Delivered by Sir Robert McAlpine)

  • Trinity (Non-Forensic) building’s façade is now complete. The Shaftesbury (Forensic) façade is still ongoing but nearing completion.

  • There are ongoing fitout works (including painting and decorating) to Shaftesbury and Trinity hospital buildings that are ongoing but nearing completion in some areas

  • Mechanical and Electrical works ongoing to both Shaftesbury and Trinity buildings which includes commissioning and testing.

Civil and Infrastructure (Delivered by Sir Robert McAlpine)

  • The park is completed and handed over for its maturing period.

  • Construction is progressing outside Mayfield Nursery and Gymnastics Club and both new hospital buildings, but uninterrupted access will be maintained for both parties through Share Garden.

  • The hard landscaping on Springfield Drive and Chapel Square is nearing completion with progressing the installation of the granite, paving, lighting columns and trees.

Next phase of new build residential - Plots B-E and L&M (delivered by Barratt London)

Block M: Partially occupied. To be fully occupied by C.O.B 05/08/22.

Block L: Completion to Block & Handover to be complete throughout August.

Block L&M external soft & hard-landscaping to be completed by late August.

Block B1 – C1: Hard & Soft Landscaping progressing, with completion to blocks/houses & handover to all 3 parcels over next 4-6weeks, including all soft & hard landscaping.

Block C2: Internal fit-out ongoing, with anticipated completion October.

E1 & E2: Superstructure now on 2nd floors throughout, roofing works finishing on E1B  mid-August.

D2 – Ground floor now installed with superstructure works now underway.

Conversion of listed main building to residential - Plot S (delivered by City & Country)

Phase 1

  • First Fix, Close Up, Plaster, 2nd Fix, Decoration and Finals to apartments

  • Completion of apartments and communal areas

  • Scaffold strike to remaining blocks

  • External finishes

  • Hard and soft landscaping

  • Legal completions

  • Occupations

Phase 2

  • Demolition works ongoing

  • Drainage and services

  • Scaffold erection and adaptions

  • Masonry repairs and cleaning

  • Window Repairs

  • Structural alterations and repairs

  • Roofing works

New care home facility - Plot H (delivered by Lawrence Baker)

  • Complete installing the remaining windows to the lower ground floor

  • Complete external ground works in preparation of Tarmac in September

  • Continue with installing the incoming services, water, electricity, and district heating

  • Commence the external brick clean

  • Install the railings and glass to the external podium area on the south elevation.

  • Continue with internal finishes including decoration and flooring.

  • Commence installing the passenger lifts.
