Out of hours works May 2021

Saturday 1st May

On Saturday 1st May from 1pm to 4pm Sir Robert McAlpine plan the use of a tower crane to lift mechanical plant onto the Non-Forensic Building roof. There is approximately 7 lifts required and this work needs to be undertaken late due to the size of the plant and delivery logistics. We advise the noise will be minimal as it will just be lorries delivering plant and the tower crane lifting it off the back and onto the roof.  

Saturday 15th and Sunday 16th May

Sir Robert McAlpine plan to take down Tower Crane 2 on the Springfield Project. Proposed dates are Saturday 15th May and Sunday 16th May from 8am to 5pm.

Tower Crane 2 is located in the middle of site between the two hospital buildings. Sir Robert McAlpine need to carry out the work over the weekend when there is minimal labour onsite and the nursery and gymnasium are closed as we need to establish large safety exclusion zones during disassembly and removal. As usual there will be intermittent noise associated with the removal of the pins however it should be relatively quiet work otherwise.
