Change to Construction Working Hours

In line with the government guidance: modification of planning conditions relating to construction working hours due to the effects of COVID, contractor Sir Robert McAlpine has received approval from London Borough of Wandsworth Council to extend the hospital and infrastructure construction working hours on Monday to Friday from 7am to 7pm until 30 September 2021. The additional hour either side of the working day will help ease congestion on trains and public transport modes, ensuring the safety of those who continue to have to travel to work. To minimise impact on our neighbours, work over the additional hours will include the restriction of non-essential plant and progression of internal trades only.

Therefore the current approved working hours are:

• Monday to Friday: 7am to 7pm

• Saturdays: 8am to 1pm

• Sundays and Bank Holidays: No works without prior permission.
