Springfield Village Street Party - Wednesday 10th July

You’re invited: Join us at the Southwest London & St George’s Mental Health NHS Trust Summer Street Party

This party is open to our staff, patients, and communities, and provides us with the opportunity to celebrate our staff’s amazing work throughout the year, as well as 30 years of the Trust. It’s a great chance to say thank you to each other and celebrate alongside our patients, their carers, and our local communities.

When? Wednesday 10 July 2024, 12-3pm

This year to help ensure our patients on our wards have better access to the festivities, we’ll be operating the party with a staggered timeline.

12:00 – 12:30pm: Priority time for inpatients 12:30pm: The party opens to our staff

1:00pm: Community members are invited to attend

What? The event will feature free food from around the world, stalls from different services at the Trust and local organisations, live music, and free activities, so make sure you stop by!

The food on offer will include: Nigerian, Caribbean, Indian, Thai, Burritos, Wraps, Pizza.

How? In order to facilitate this event, a stretch of the road along Springfield Drive will be closed for the duration. To minimise disruption to residents, the road closure will run from 11am to 4pm on the day, with some parking bays along the road blocked off overnight on the 9th. This will ensure the food vendors will have space to set up and operate.
